Celtic Hare

Cast in solid bronze by the Crafty Celts, the hare measures 1.5 x 1 inch (38 x 25 mm). The pendant comes with an 18" chain. The pin features a modern pinback suitable for light garments and scarves.

Hare give birth to precocial young (born with hair, open eyes, and ready to run) and don't make nests or burrows. During the Iron Age, they were kept as a pets. Because of their speed, it was thought they were used by the gods as messengers.
