The Shopping Cart

Shopping on Carpe Canem is done using a online shopping cart. You must have cookies enabled in your browser in order for the shopping cart to function properly. You can pay for your Carpe Canem purchases using VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, or a check or money order.

Choosing an item
To begin shopping, choose a category from the menu on the left.

Use the links to maneuver around the site until you find an item you would like to buy. To see a larger picture of any image, click on the thumbnail. Enter the number of items you would like into the "Quantity" box.

Some items have choices such as size, color, style, etc. Make the selections you desire using the drop down menus for each choice.

After you've made all of your selections, click the "Add to Cart" button. Your shopping cart with the item(s) you have selected will be displayed.

Changing your quantities
If you decide you want a different quantity of an item than is listed in the cart, you can edit the number by clicking in that item's Quantity box in the shopping cart window and replacing the current quantity with your desired amount. You must click the "Update Cart" button after doing this to register the change.

Removing an item from the cart
To remove an item from the cart, enter "0" (zero) in the Quantity box next to that item in the shopping cart window, then click the "Update Cart" button.

Adding additional items
If you want to do more shopping, click the "Continue Shopping" button. This will take you back to the store pages where you can look around some more.

Any time you want to see what's in your cart, you can click on the "View Cart" link in the left menu.

Placing your order
Once you have finished shopping, click the "Place Order" button in the shopping cart window. Fill out the requested information (required items are in red) then click the "Place Order" button at the bottom of the page. Please note that orders from Arizona (Carpe Canem's home state) will be charged 7.7% sales tax.

For credit card payments, your credit card information will be collected securely during check out.

If you want to pay through PayPal, click the PayPal button once you've completed the ordering process. When you complete the payment, you will be taken to a printable version of your order.

If you want to pay using a check or money order, you will receive information on where to send payment, and will be provided with a link to a printable version of your order to send with your payment.
